Stuttgart Börse, Germany’s second-largest stock exchange unveils the prototype of a zero-fee cryptocurrency trading app called “BISON app”, which was built by fintech Sowa Labs, according to a press release published on May 16.
The app will be available in autumn 2018 in German and will later be offered in English. The smartphone application is a free, secure and easy to understand. It will give an easy access to the world of cryptocurrencies for investors. The prototype of the app will be presented at the finance and investment trade fair Invest in Stuttgart.
The Managing Director at Sowa Labs, Dr. Ulli Spankowski mentioned,
“BISON makes trading in digital currencies easy. It is the first crypto app in the world to have a traditional stock exchange behind it.”
The app will facilitate the trading of bitcoin, ethereum, and other cryptocurrencies. Rather than taking several days to open a user account, it will only take a few minutes with BISON app. The application will support Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple and Litecoin and will add other digital assets “in the near future.”
“With BISON, also registering and providing proof of identity is less complicated. […]Users can trade cryptocurrencies free of charge with the app.”
The app has an interesting feature called Cryptoradar service that uses artificial intelligence to filter news in social media. It can also give an overview of the market in real-time and information of the cryptocurrencies that are the most discussed.
A survey made by Sowa Labs shows that investors want and easier access to the crypto market.
“This is exactly what BISON is optimised to provide,” commented Spankowski.
BISON “is the first crypto app in the world to have a traditional stock exchange behind it,” he added.
Last week, Robinhood also reveals plans to expand its cryptocurrency app to every state in the U.S.
