According to Bloomberg, the two twin brothers Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, co-founders of Gemini Exchange mentioned that they want to add more digital currency options to their exchange. The cryprotcurrency trading platform will possibly add Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash to their exchange.
Gemini Exchange is the reference price for the Chicago Futures Exchange Bitcoin contract. The futures exchange needs Gemini to reference a more diversified choice of cryptocurrencies.
According to an older Bloomberg report, CBOE’s Chief Operation Officer Chris Concannon mentioned,
“You look at the entire crypto space and you look at what other products have the liquidity and the notional size, a derivative makes sense.”
Currently, Gemini only lists bitcoin and ethereum but there might be a possibility for the exchange to add Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash to its listing, mentioned Tyler Winklevoss, as reported the Bloomberg paper.
